Herons Visit Tiverton Museum
Herons had a wonderful visit to the Tiverton Museum recently. They learnt lots about life during the war: they were able to experience what it was like to go shopping during rationing times; how people cooked and carried out sewing at home; they dressed up as evacuees and experienced catching a real-life steam train and also experienced an air raid shelter siren whilst sitting in an air raid shelter. They had a fantastic day and learnt lots!
