Future Musicians Day - Devon Music Education Hub
Twenty-two Lapford pupils recently travelled to Chulmleigh College to take part in the second ever Future Musicians Day. Pupils joined Chulmleigh College pupils and pupils from other local primary schools, spending just one hour rehearsing two pieces together, which they then performed in front of parents.
It was an incredible afternoon for our young musicians and, for many of them, the first opportunity they have had to perform as part of an ensemble. They did amazingly and the standard of the performance after just an hour of rehearsal was superb. We are very proud that Lapford had so many musicians playing such a wide range of instruments with complete confidence. Well done to everyone involved!
