    Twenty-two Lapford pupils recently travelled to Chulmleigh College to take part in the second ever Future Musicians Day. Pupils joined Chulmleigh College pupils and pupils from other local primary schools, spending just one hour rehearsing two pieces together, which they then performed in front of parents.

  • The Wooden Spoon Charity Sensory Room Opening

    Yesterday we welcomed visitors from The Wooden Spoon charity to Lapford for the grand opening of The Wooden Spoon Sensory Room.  It was so important for the children to be able to say thank you to the charity for their generous donation, which enabled us to create such a fantastic new space for the school.  Our guests enjoyed their visit immensely and commented what a ‘happy and inclusive’ school we are.   • Kingfishers & Herons visit RAMM

    Kingfishers and Herons have recently been to Exeter to visit the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Kingfishers took part in several workshops linked to their World War II topic whilst Herons enjoyed a trip on the train and took a self guided tour of the museum. Both groups of children were exceptionally well behaved, and we are incredibly proud of them.
